Crispy Air Fryer Chicken Wings

Ingredients:

  • 12 chicken wings (drumettes and wingettes)
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt (plus more to taste)
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tsp. granulated garlic
  • 1/2 Tbsp. baking powder

Directions:

  1. Dry the wings really well with paper towels and place in a medium bowl. Add the salt, chili powder, garlic and baking powder. Gently rub the seasoning all over the wings, covering evenly. Set aside.
  2. Spray the cooking rack of your air fryer with cooking spray. Arrange the chicken wings on the rack so they do not touch.
  3. Place the rack inside the air fryer. Set the temperature to 410°F for 20 minutes. Press start.
  4. If you air fryer goes only to 400°F, set the temperature to 400°F and the cooking time to 22 minutes.
  5. If you like your wings extra crispy, add 5 more minutes to the times above.
  6. They should be deep golden brown in color. If not, let them cook for another 3-5 minutes.
  7. Carefully remove the wings from the air fryer and serve immediately with sauce on the side.
