Crispy Peanut Butter Balls

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup natural peanut butter
  • ¾ cup crispy rice cereal
  • 1 tsp. pure maple syrup
  • ½ cup dark chocolate chips, melted

Directions:

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment or wax paper.
  2. Combine peanut butter, cereal and maple syrup in a medium bowl.
  3. Roll the mixture into 12 balls, using about 2 teaspoons of mixture for each. Place on prepared baking sheet.
  4. Freeze the balls until firm, about 15 minutes.
  5. Roll in melted chocolate or use in peanut butter fondue.
  6. Return to the freezer until the chocolate is set, about 15 minutes.
