Crock-pot Beef and Broccoli

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs cut up broccoli
  • 2 cloves of garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp. of salt
  • 1/2 tsp. of pepper
  • 2 T. oyster sauce
  • 1 T. soy sauce
  • 1 tsp. cornstarch
  • 1 T. water
  • 3/4 pound thin fajita beef strips

Directions

Combine salt, pepper, garlic, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. Marinate beef strips in soy mixture. Place broccoli into crock-pot followed by beef strips. Now pour remaining marinade into crock-pot. Blend cornstarch and water together and pour into stoneware. Mix the liquid around lightly and cook on low for 6 hours.
Tip: This beef becomes very soft and tasty. A good option for obtaining the beef here is to buy a medium sized brisket trimmed of fat and cut into beef strips that can be stored. This saves money and the taste of brisket here is very tasty.
