- 9 pears, chopped fine
- 1 cup crushed pineapple
- 5 cups sugar
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Mix together the pears, pineapple, sugar and lemon juice.
- Bring to boil; cook over low heat for 35 to 40 minutes, stirring until fruit is clear and liquid is thick. Makes about 6 pints.
