We have one favorite lake — most boat people do — and here we would spend some of the best days of summer. I found that on the boat I didn’t worry.

I am rarely at a loss for words. In fact I tend to think — and write — in 800 word increments. But there are times when there simply are no words.

I only clean for new people. In fact, if I clean for you, we probably aren’t that close — yet.

Columnist Kym Seabolt has finally discovered that hair, while fun to have and play with, does not define her.

I am not a trophy mom. I mean I think I'm a catch, but I'm not "into" trophies.

I tend to jump on bandwagons — right about the time everyone else has jumped off, and the bandwagon’s been put up on jacks. This is why I am just now coming around to the life-changing magic of tidying up.

Now, as near as I can tell, "talking to" has replaced "dating."

I like to think of myself as a technologically advanced person.

We are rich in work ethic gleaned from generations before us. This pays dividends far into the future, even if we aren't rolling in the riches of an inherited trust.

We all love beautiful things, but there is the problem with them. They are all so fragile.
