COLUMBUS – OId-fashioned arts and farm demonstrations will be featured at the 32nd annual Bob Evans Farm Festival in Rio Grande, Ohio, Oct. 11-13.
More than 150 traditional craftspeople will be on hand at the festival to demonstrate and sell a variety of items.
Crafts on display include weaving, hand-poured candles, wooden toys, leaded and stained glass, spinning, leatherwork, blacksmithing, basketry and other demonstrations and items.
In addition to the crafts, the festival features musical entertainment, farm demonstrations, contests and children’s activities. Demonstrations and activities include country, gospel, jazz and bluegrass music, cloggers and line dancers, an equine-mounted drill team, a lumberjack show, tractor square dancing, feed sack races, a corn shelling contest and other unique events.
The show is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and admission is $3 per person. Primitive tent and RV camping for the weekend is available at the farm.
