Champions paraded at Angus preview

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. – Out of the 124 entries at the 2005 Ohio Angus Preview Show in Canton, Ohio, there were 90 females, 26 bulls and eight cow-calf pairs.
Bulls. Paradise Universe 462 claimed grand champion bull after first topping the junior division. He is an April 2004 son of G D A Universe 726G. James and Sharon Winter, of Ashville, Ohio, own the winning bull.
Creek Side Topline claimed reserve grand champion bull after first claiming reserve junior champion. The March 2004 bull was sired by Connealy Dateline and is owned by James Rentz of Coldwater, Ohio.
Females. Champion Hill Lady 3901 claimed grand champion female after first topping the junior division. She is a February 2004 daughter of W V F HB Atlantic Natl Merit and is owned by Vince Untied of Granville, Ohio.
Echo Dell Lady 4013 claimed reserve grand champion female after first claiming reserve junior champion. Justin Brosey of Hamilton, Ohio, owns the March 2004 daughter of P V F New Horizon 001.
Cow-calf pairs. Lindsey Grimes of Hillsboro, Ohio, led the grand champion cow-calf pair.
Maplecrest Forever Lady S301 and her February 2005 bull calf are the winning pair. The cow is a March 2003 daughter of Twin Valley Precision E161, and her calf was sired by G A R Integrity.
Champion Hill Lucy 3244 and her February 2005 bull calf claimed reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. The cow is a January 2003 daughter of B C C Bushwacker 41-93, and her calf was sired by Champion Hill Edition 2029.
Champion Hill in Bidwell, Ohio, and Greenacres Farm in Cincinnati, Ohio, own the winning pair.
