JD Equipment presented the Stefanie Spielman fund with a $26,000 check for the breast cancer research fund. The donation was given during the annual Buckeye Cruise for Cancer, which took place Feb. 23-27.
The company raised the money by committing to donate $10, $30, $50 or $70 for every new 100, 300, 500 or 700 series John Deere lawnmower sold in 2011. The company is repeating the fundraiser in 2012.
