Museum lecture explains use of passenger lists

PITTSBURGH – The Sen. John Heinz Pittsburgh Regional History Center is offering a class on “Finding Your Ancestor’s Passenger List.”

The genealogy lecture, from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Oct. 20, will explain the use of passenger lists from ships to learn more about family history.

The Sen. John Heinz Pittsburgh Regional History Center is one of 48 history museum affiliates of the Smithsonian Institution.

It is located at 1212 Smallman St. in Pittsburgh’s Strip District.
