HARRISBURG, Pa. – Proposed changes to Pennsylvania’s Nutrient Management Act are available online and ready for the 90-day public comment period.
The package contains the first modifications since the passage of the Nutrient Management Act in 1993.
According to state Secretary of Agriculture Dennis Wolff, the changes include increased oversight on high-density animal operations and also supports the efforts of producers to comply.
