Renaissance announces new acquisition

ROARING SPRING, Pa. – Renaissance Nutrition, of Roaring Spring, Pa., and FurstMcNess, of Freeport, Ill., announce the purchase of the vitamin and premix business of McNess within the eastern United States (New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, the Carolinas and Georgia).

This transaction was completed April 1.

Within the transaction, the McNess Livestock Feed Consultants, of the Premix Division, have joined the growing Renaissance family of consultants located throughout the northeastern and southeastern states.

McNess, headquartered in Illinois, will continue to focus their premix business within all other states, as well as the commodity business in the United States and Canada.

Renaissance, located strategically for markets into the northeast and southeast, will continue to develop within this entire area.

Renaissance Nutrition and McNess are both purveyors of quality products and services to livestock producers.

The purchase has been designed to provide increased opportunity for livestock producers throughout the service area, which will comprise the states of New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, the Carolinas and Georgia.
