ASHLAND, Ohio — Crestview FFA is holding a packing event Feb. 24 with Crestview Middle School students to pack 80,000 meals for residents in Ashland and Richland counties through Meals of Hope.

The chapter needs to raise $20,000 in order to meet this goal. To donate to the chapter contact Joel Albright by email, albright.joel@crestviewschools.net, or phone, 419-895-1700.

Last year, the chapter packed 50,000 meals with Crestview High School students and distributed to 12 local food pantries.

FAYETTEVILLE, Ohio — Fayetteville FFA members collected school supplies for the Elementary students at Fayetteville-Perry Local Schools after hearing teachers discuss how their classrooms are usually low on supplies when they come back from Christmas break. The chapter collected supplies Dec. 5-16 to stock the classrooms.

WELLINGTON, Ohio — The Wellington FFA chapter made tie blankets to donate during the Wellington Winter Wonderland event held the last day of Wellington High School’s winter break.

Each year the high school holds the charity event, organized by the National Honor Society, for students to volunteer in various activities. The FFA chapter decided to make the blankets to donate to a local shelter.
