HANOVERTON, Ohio — The United FFA attended the annual Farm Science Review, in London, Ohio, Sept. 20. Fifty students from the chapter attended. Members saw over 4,000 displays by 640 exhibitors.

WEST SALEM, Ohio — Northwestern FFA participated in the county soils contest Sept. 20. The soils teams traveled to Norwayne for the county soil judging contest.

Cody Tegtmeier, Austen Wood, Michael Nutter, Cody Morrow and Beth Kanzeg participated in the Urban Soils Career Development Event.

The team placed first overall, with Tegtmeier placing first, Wood placing second, Nutter placing fourth, Morrow placing seventh, and Kanzeg placing eighth.

The Rural Soil Career Development Event participants were Jessie Bair, Kyle Badger, Kyle Piscione, David Miley, Bri Troyan, Haley Wilson, Sara Cassidy, Riley Stull, Valerie Imhoff, Lizzy Howman, Cole Wharton, Mercedes Gecking, Cassidy Brown, Tori McConnell, Max Madrill, Danny Nobel, Brandon Gerkens, Blake Riel, Austin Horsky, Craig Wellert, Noah White and Josh Lenz.

Northwestern placed first as a team. Individually, Bair earned second, Badger earned third, Piscione was fourth, Miley was fifth and Troyan was sixth for the chapter.
