Stark County dairy royalty crowned

CANTON, Ohio — Stark County Dairy Royalty were recently crowned at a 4-H Square Dance at the Stark County Fairgrounds.

Kellie Keiser will reign as the 2010 Stark County Dairy Princess and Emma Ramsey as the 2010 Stark County Dairy Sweetheart. Both were crowned by the retiring Dairy Princess Emily Shockling, of Louisville and Dairy Sweetheart Tapanga Smith, of Louisville.

Keiser is a 2010 graduate of Marlington High School and the daughter of Tim and Rhonda Keiser, of Homeworth. Keiser is active in 4-H and enjoys showing cattle at the fair. She milks cows for Kiko Farms of Minerva.

Ramsey will be a third grader at North Nimishillen School this fall and is the daughter of Brian and Elizabeth Ramsey.

Other candidates for Dairy Royalty were Andrea Thomas, of Louisville, and Mikayla Dysle, of East Canton.

Thomas is the daughter of Mark and Christine Thomas. She attends East Canton High School.

Dysle is the daughter of Tom and Debbie Dysle, of East Canton. She attends East Canton High School.

The royalty will be making special appearances, including preschools, parades, stores, and at the Stark County Fair milking parlor, dairy shows and auctions.
