Pound Cake with cream cheese

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups butter, at room temp

  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, at room temp

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 cups flour, sifted
  • dash salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla

Directions:

  1. Beat butter and cream cheese until creamy; gradually add sugar. Add eggs, beat until combined. Gradually add flour and salt to butter mixture, beating at low speed until just blended. Stir in vanilla. Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch Bundt pan. Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 40 minutes (must pass the toothpick test). After 15 minutes on counter, remove from pan to wire rack.
