Hazard A Guess: Week of April 10, 2008

Hello from Hazard!

Faithful Hazard-ite Joseph Betz of Library, Pa., was the only one to proffer a guess on Item No. 829.

He has something similar that is a wrench for his acetylene tank valve, and wonders if “some bright inventor added a chipping hammer head to the handle.”

“The half circle on top could be used to hold pipe in place while welding or brazing,” Betz also wrote.

Take another look at No. 829 and let us know what you think. If there’s no other responses, we’ll go on to something new next week.
