Hello from Hazard!
The mail bags were empty this week again on Item No. 1061.
The items were submitted by James Turvey, of Mechanicstown, Ohio. James reveals they are both wooden foot values that were used for a wood well pipe or wood sucker rods on a well.
Thanks James — the mystery is solved.
Ken Lessing, of Fresno, Ohio, submitted Item No. 1062. His Amish neighbor found it in a box of stuff at an auction. He says the item is cast, and the bottom has been machined flat.
Can anyone help Ken identify the object?
