Hello from Hazard!
One more reader sent in a response on Item No. 888, the heat diffuser used on cookstoves to prevent scorching and burning. Good to hear from Betty Peoples, of Carrollton, Ohio, who still has the one her grandmother used (and Betty confesses she’s 89!). That’s a warm keepsake, that’s for sure!

I think #890 is a chopper used on pumpkins, cabbage, corn, ect. to feed livestock.

I believe that Item #909 is a matchstick holder. It holds the match so you can reach into the candle to light it without burning your fingers.
