Hello Again,

Enrollment for ARC/PLC is on-going for both 2014 and 2015. This is the third and final step to completing your ARC/PLC contracts for 2014 and 2015.

You should have already received a letter in the mail that shows the program choice you made for the new farm bill and the base acres and yields on the farms you are participating in.

If you see anything in this letter that doesn’t look correct, please let us know as soon as possible. What happens during enrollment?

This is the final step in finalizing your ARC/PLC program requirements for 2014 and 2015. You have already selected what aspect of the program you want your farms to participate in.

This last step involves you signing the contract. This step must be completed to participate in the program and receive 2014 and 2015 benefits.

The deadline to complete this final step is Sept. 30. Does this apply to me?

This applies to anyone who has already made base acre and yield reallocations and decided on what program you want to participate in. You may think that this step was already completed when you picked your program.

You still need to sign your enrollment contract to complete the application process. If you have any questions or are unsure if this applies to you, please contact your local FSA office.

We will be glad to assist you. How will I know if I qualify for a payment for 2014? Prices and yield information is being finalized and will be released as soon as possible from the National office.

As soon as the County office has that information we will certainly pass it along. Remember, if you have not completed enrollment, you will not be eligible for a payment in 2014 should one be triggered.

The deadline for Enrollment is Sept. 30. Contact your local FSA office for an appointment if you haven’t already and we will get you enrolled.

That’s all for now,
FSA Andy
