NEW CASTLE, Pa. — The Trail Blazers 4-H club had several members attend and help out at the Lawrence county 4-H auction at the New Englander March 26.

The Trail Blazers had a riding meeting April 5 in which a vet came to give Coggins tests and rabies shots.

Also, Olivia Kamicker gave a presentation on barrel racing. The club completed GPPs 1-3 April 2 and April 14 and had a horsemanship skills practice April 3. They also had a business netting April 19 where a state police officer discussed the laws of hauling horse trailers.

After that, they tie-dyed T-shirts which we will get our club logo printed on it.

There was a trail ride at Moraine State Park May 7.

The Trail Blazers had a business meeting May 17 where they did paperwork, knot tying, body parts of the horse, parts of the saddle and horse family feud.
