WAYNE, Ohio — The Pymatuning Valley FFA held its annual pie auction at the Ashtabula County Antique Engine Club Show July 6 after a long day of parking cars. All proceeds benefited the PV FFA Chapter.

At a couple minutes after 4 p.m., auctioneer Fred Shohayda started the annual event, selling approximately 35 donated pies. One pie made by Bobbi Lahti sold for a record $325.

After the auction, when all donations were added up, the PV FFA raised over $2,000. Money will be used to run the chapter for the coming year.
