Where should I direct my anger?

Editor:

Forgive me if I sound angry — but as I read your article, “Farmers face uphill climb in D.C.,” I have a hard time figuring out where to direct my anger.

Let’s start by directing some at the political hacks at the EPA who have decided that they need to now expand their control to limiting emissions from livestock and charging a fee to farmers for permits and rates for exceeding their “empirically” set limits.

Anger must also be directed at the legislative branch of the government who not only created this monster, but now suggests that we kiss their behinds to pass bill no. S527 to stop the EPA from imposing these ridiculous controls on the American farmer.

Certainly, anger should be directed at the “GREENIES,” led by Al Gore, promoting the hoax of “global warming” and at politicians who see “CAP and TRADE” as a way not only to expand their control over the citizenry, but to increase revenue as well.

If there is any anger left on this issue, it might be directed toward the American Farm Bureau Federation led by Rick Krause who is quoted as saying, “Although American Farm Bureau currently has no policy related to this issue — we’re working to get as good a deal as we can for the American farmers.” REALLY?

I remember some years ago there was a “humongous” farm tractor parade in Washington to protest stupid political actions by our government. I think it’s about time for another one!
