Plans set for 2012 Ohio Spring Dairy Expo

COLUMBUS — The Ohio Purebred Dairy Cattle Association has completed plans for the annual 2012 Ohio Spring Dairy Expo. It is scheduled for March 29-31 at the Ohio Exposition Center in Columbus.

Judges

Dennis Patrick will judge the Ayrshire, Holstein and the Red and White breeds. Alta Mae Core will judge the Brown Swiss, Guernsey, Jersey and Milking Shorthorns breeds.

Breed sales, managed by Modern Associates, the Ohio Holstein Association and the Ohio State University’s Buckeye Dairy Club, will be held March 29 and March 30.

Animals

More than 500 animals are expected to go through the show rings, and more than 150 head are expected for the five breed sales.
