The Navarre Bethlehem Township Historical Society had its monthly meeting recently to discuss the village “Christmas in Bethlehem” event to be held on Nov. 9.

Paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, jewelry, fiber and pottery created by Cranberry Artists Network members will be available to view and purchase.

The Division of Wildlife will release male pheasants (roosters) at 36 public hunting areas throughout Ohio for the following dates: Oct. 19, the first youth weekend; Oct. 26, second youth weekend; Nov. 1, opening day; Nov. 9 and Nov. 28, Thanksgiving Day.
