What a time we had traveling with Bob and Dana Detling, of Barnesville, Ohio, on a land tour of the Inner Passage of Alaska this summer! The trip included a puddle jumper flight to Wiseman, Alaska, 63 miles north of the Aortic Circle, where the photo was taken. “Alaska is beautiful,” they write, “but once returning home, we feel the best vacation is right here on our 150-acre Black Angus operation!” Dorothy was right: There’s no place like home!
