Strawberry Salsa

Ingredients 1/3 cup apricot jam 3 tablespoons water 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 quart fresh strawberries, quartered and diced Directions In medium bowl whisk jam, water and cinnamon. Add strawberries; toss gently to combine. Serve salsa over pancakes, waffles, hot cereal or mix into plain yogurt.

Bacon Pecan Sandwich Spread

Ingredients 6 slices bacon 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted 1 cup sharp Chedder cheese, grated 1 teaspoon onion, grated 1/2 mayonnaise 1/2 teaspoon salt Directions Cook bacon until crisp; drain and crumble. Dill Dip

Ingredients 1 cup sour cream 1 tablespoon dill weed 1 tablespoon chives 2/3 mayonnaise 1 tablespoon parsley 1 teaspoon seasoned salt Directions Mix all ingredients well and refrigerate overnight. Serve with fresh vegetables or crackers.

Cheese Spread

Ingredients 2 1/2 ozs Port wine 1/2 tablespoon dry mustard 12 ozs. Cheddar cheese spread, softened 1 1/2 tablespoons horseradish 1 1/2 ozs. Worcestershire sauce Directions Mix all ingredients. Store in container with lid. Refrigerate. Serve on crackers using knife to spread on cheese.
