HANOVERTON, Ohio — Walter E. Watson, 95, died June 1, 2014, at the Salem Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 14, 1918, in Wellsville, Ohio, to the late Walter and Florence May (Thompson) Watson. He married Doris Eleanor McKarns on June 15, 1946. She preceded him in death on Dec. 4, 2004. Mr. Watson lived in the Salineville area before moving to Hanoverton in 1954. He retired from Loudon Ford in 1983 after 36 years.
