LEGAL NOTICE
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed bids will be received by the Director of Public
Service and Safety of the City of Salem, Ohio at his
office in City Hall, 231 S. Broadway Ave., Salem, OH
until 11:00 am on Friday, March 13, 2026, at which
time and place said bids will be publicly opened and
read aloud on the following:
The bidder shall bid on any of the following items
which his company can properly furnish to the City
of Salem, Ohio:
FOR SERVICE DEPARTMENT: Unleaded gasoline
and diesel fuel
Price to be FOB City Building, Salem Ohio; QUOTE
GAS MARKET PRICE PLUS MARKUP. All con-
tracts will be effective for the period April 1, 2026
through March 31, 2027.
Each bid on any of the foregoing items shall contain
the full name of every person interested in the same
and be accompanied by a bond to the satisfaction of
the Director of Public Service and Safety, or a certi-
fied check on some solvent bank in the amount of
One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) as a guarantee that,
if he bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into
and its performance properly secured.
All bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope, and
that envelope enclosed in a second sealed enve-
lope, and on each envelope there shall be a notation
that a bid is enclosed and what the bid covers.
The right is reserved to reject any and all bids.
